Cherry Flooring

Cherry offers a rich, soft, smooth grain pattern. As the heart wood of Cherry ages, it'll get deeper in red tones.  The sap wood however in unselect and rustic grades will remain white to yellow in color, and will not change as much with age.  

We offer Cherry in Select, Number 1, Unselect Number 1  and Rustic grades.  Select and Number 1s are our most popular, limiting the knots and maximizing the heartwood.  Rustic and Unselect Grades allow for more sound knots and unlimited sapwood.   

Any of these can be milled in our Narrow Plank, Wide Plank or Heritage floors.  

Cherry is ranked 950 on the Janka scale, making it one of our softer hardwoods, but with care, these floors can last for generations to come.  We recommend Cherry floors to be installed in low to medium traffic areas.
