Hard Maple Flooring

Hard Maple offers a soft, smooth grain pattern.  For those that do not like the harsh grain in Oaks and Ash, Maple would be an excellent choice.   To achieve the greatest amount of character, our Maple floors contain a mix of the white sap wood with the dark brown heart wood. 

We offer Maple in Select, Number 1 and Rustic grades.    Select grade floors will be more uniform in grain pattern.  Looking for a floor with an abundant amount of character but smaller tight knots? Check out our Number  1 Maple floors.  For unlimited amount of character with larger but sound knots, look no further than our Rustic Maple floors.    

Any of these can be milled in our Narrow Plank, Wide Plank or Heritage floors.  

Hard Maple is ranked 1480 on the Janka scale, making it one of the hardest domestic flooring wood.
