Strip Flooring

Throughout the late 1800's and early 1900's, strip flooring was a popular flooring choice among home builders.  Traditionally, Red and White Oak was used due to its abundance and stability.  Today, Red and White Oak are still being used in strip flooring, either in restoration work or whole floor rebuilds.  Our strip flooring comes in widths between 1.5 inch and 2.25 inch.  Thickness varies between 3/8 of an inch up to 1/2 of an inch.  We can adjust the thickness or width to match existing floors during restoration.
